No technical degree or AI certification is required to apply. What matters most is intellectual curiosity,
strong communication skills, and genuine interest in helping businesses succeed. We provide comprehensive
training through our 4-week Navigator Certification program that covers everything you need to start
advising clients confidently. If you can learn new tools and explain them clearly to non-technical
business owners, you're already most of the way there.
After you're accepted, the Navigator Certification program takes approximately 4 weeks to complete.
It's fully online and self-paced, so you can complete it alongside existing commitments. After certification,
you'll be paired with an onboarding buddy — a senior Navigator — for your first 60 days.
Most new Navigators land their first client within 60–90 days of completing certification.
Navigators earn income in two primary ways. First, a recurring monthly commission on each
client's active Tidal AI platform subscription — meaning as long as your client stays subscribed,
you earn every month without additional work. The Tidal AI platform offers five subscription tiers
(Intro at $370/mo through Professional at $5,800/mo), and your commission scales with the plan your
client is on. Second, project and advisory fees for one-time engagements such as AI
readiness audits, roadmap builds, and team training workshops ($1,500–$5,000 per project).
Senior Navigators who mentor junior members earn an additional monthly bonus.
Full commission rates and payment schedule are disclosed transparently during the interview process.
There is no upfront cost to become a Navigator.
Both paths are supported. Many successful Navigators began part-time — managing 1–2 clients
alongside a day job or other commitments — before transitioning fully. We estimate you need
approximately 10–15 hours per week to effectively serve a single client. A full-time Navigator
typically works 20–35 hours per week with 4–6 active client relationships. You set the pace
that works for your life.
Client acquisition is a shared effort. Tidal AI Advisors runs national marketing campaigns and
inbound lead generation that feeds matched leads to qualified Navigators. You'll also receive
your own personalized Navigator landing page and marketing assets to build your local or
niche reputation. The more you invest in your personal brand, the more clients come to you directly.
Business development training is included in the Navigator Certification program.
There is no upfront cost to apply or complete the Navigator Certification program.

they have relevant background — your domain expertise is a major competitive advantage.
Solo freelancing means building everything from scratch — your brand, your processes, your
client pipeline, your training, and your tools. As a Tidal AI Navigator, you get the infrastructure
of an established brand behind you: proven methodology, platform tools, marketing support,
a national peer network, and an ongoing training pipeline. You retain the autonomy and income
of independent work, but without the isolation and ramp-up time of going it alone.
The support doesn't stop after certification. Navigators have access to weekly live training
sessions covering new AI tools and client scenarios, a private community forum for peer support,
monthly group coaching calls, updated resource libraries, and direct escalation support for
complex client situations. We also offer advanced certification tracks for Navigators who want
to specialize in specific industries or AI domains.
The Navigator program is currently available to US-based applicants, and we're expanding
internationally in 2025. The role is fully remote — you can work from anywhere with a reliable
internet connection. Client engagements are primarily virtual, though Navigators with local
client relationships may choose to meet in person when convenient.
